Prof. Dr. Satyawan Pudyatmoko, S.Hut., M.Sc., currently serves as Director General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation at Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry. He completed his master’s and doctoral education at George August University in Goettingen, Germany. In 2020, he was officially appointed a professor at the Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He is active in various wildlife conservation seminars as a keynote speaker and participant. In the international scientific association, he is also a member of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and the Wild Cattle Specialist Group of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
