Deni Noviana is a professor of surgery and radiology at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SVMBS) (IPB), Indonesia, and an adjunct professor at Laval University, Canada. He accomplished his DVM in IPB (1998) and PhD in Yamaguchi University, Japan (2004). He serves as Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs at IPB University. His expertise is in medical implantation and diagnostic imaging, especially echocardiography, ultrasonography, and radiology. In 2015, he became an Executive Director of IPB Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He is currently leading national and international research projects in developing biodegradable implant materials for the self-supporting national industry of Indonesia. He received two national and one international research awards in 2015 and 2016. He has published many scientific articles in international journals as well as several books published both nationally and internationally.
