Prof. Arief Boediono, DVM., Ph.D, PAVet (K)
Prof. Arief Boediono is a full professor at the Division of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology, the Department of Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology, School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia. He obtained a degree in veterinary medicine from IPB University and a philosophical doctorate from the United Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences, Yamaguchi University, Japan.
Prof Arief dedicated himself to developing reproductive technology, especially in vitro fertilization. He is also researching Embryonic Stem cell (ESC) production, cloning from monozygotic embryos, embryo production with in vitro fertilization methods, embryo freezing, and much more. He actively participated in the application of embryo transfer in Wagyu cattle in Solok, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Currently, with IPB University, Prof. Arief is trusted to handle efforts to save the Sumatran Rhinoceros and BioBank in Indonesia by applying Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
