Prof. Erdoğan Memili DVM., MS., Ph.D

Prof. Erdogan Memili is an animal scientist specializing in reproductive physiology and genetics, especially in increasing livestock fertility. He is currently part of Mississippi State University. He received his DVM degree from Istanbul University, a master’s degree in bacteriology and a Ph.D in endocrinology and reproductive physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Post-doctoral at Harvard Medical School focusing on genetics and embryonic stem cells. His research focuses on identifying molecular markers, such as sperm proteins, that can predict livestock fertility. His research has been influential in developing AI and TE methods, increasing reproductive efficiency in cattle, and overcoming the problem of embryonic mortality.
